美国在奥运会称雄，中国抬起了头 { 观微知彼/弊 (guan wei zhi bi/bi）（150）}

过去从中国南来马来亚（Malaya,当时的名称）的华人中，即使到了50年代至60年代，仍然有老人家偷抽雅片。他们就是雅片余毒的受害者。

虽然发生在中国的雅片战争至今已达172年,但余毒延续长达120年以上，可谓断根不易。后来从世界各地发现的‘非法的’海洛因、大麻等毒品，更是害人不浅。

奥运会于1894年首次在雅典举行，当年正是甲午战争，日本侵占朝鲜半岛及中国的那一年，至今已长达118年，后来就每4年举行一次。

华人，就在雅片战争之后，一直到中华民国统治期，都被冠以‘东亚病夫’之号，这个‘可耻的封号’，难以洗脱。到了中华人民共和国成立与统治后的一段长时候，经过国强民壮的阶段，逐渐摆脱了这个有侮辱民族声誉的称号，最后水到渠成。

2012年7月杪至8 月12 在伦敦举行的奥运会，中国夺得38金、27银及22铜，‘东亚病夫’这个‘可耻的封号’已自动消失至九霄云外。

奥运会除了反映以上的这个事实之外，也反映了榜首国如：美、中、英、俄、德、日、澳、法、韩、意，也同时是、除了军力之外，是世界多个领域、具特出成就的强国。

How ridiculous the Chinese fought with the British 172 years ago?

The Chinese,‘with 2 guns (one 'opium gun' and the other a real gun) in 

hands’ were too weak and unable to fight with the British during the 

Opium War 172 years ago. 

Dispite of the British soldiers, less than 1/4 of the numbers of the Chinese soldiers, could manage to fight and defeated the Chinese, resulting Hong Kong to be in the hand of the British for 100 years and 5 ports of China provided for the use of British.  The Chinese was then under Ching Dynasty.                       

The Chinese s' achievements (38G, 27S & 22C) in the 2012 Olympic Games, have shown their determination to get rid off all ‘the bad images of the past’ despite of the long period they have suffered.
